496 is a ‘perfect number’ – it’s divisible by: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 31, 62, 124 and 248. If you take all of those individual component numbers and add them together, the total is 496.
Just as the number 496 is made up of different components, organisations also consist of a number of different components - departments, teams and individuals. Indeed, our own lives have many different 'components'.
With any one of the numbers missing, any members of the team not performing or if we feel incomplete in any aspects of our own lives, we cannot get to 100%.
